What affects your result
Simple visual reaction time is often quoted at roughly 200 to 300 ms. This test also includes your monitor's refresh rate, mouse or touchscreen latency and browser processing, so the same person can score tens of milliseconds differently on another device. Compare your own results on the same setup.
Tips for a fair measurement
- A wired mouse or the Space bar usually has less delay than wireless or touch input.
- Higher refresh rate monitors show the change sooner.
- Average several runs. Fatigue makes a noticeable difference.
